  Lost Your Ooomph?

Don't despair.
t happens to just about everyone. Beginners get revved up for change, but feel paralyzed by too much information. Family and friends seem determined to sabotage our efforts. We try and flounder. We stay on track for a while, but suddenly find we’ve lost interest, lost steam, lose our support network, lose a training buddy, lose or change jobs. We try a new, healthful eating plan, but soon tire of the food.
Here's some help:
“Sounds like you have a dilemma” A paper written for physicians you can use to motivate yourself.

Maybe you're trying too hard Studies show moderate, frequent exercise works best.

Just how ready are you? You may need to psych yourself up for your next move.

Don’t undermine yourself with negative self-talk Recharge by talking yourself out of negative states.

Try something new, like Nordic walking
Because it provides work for the upper body as well as the legs, walking with poles increases caloric burn of your walk, decreases the impacts on joints and muscles, and aids balance.

Try a new gadget. Perhaps something as simple as a pedometer.

Need more reasons to exercise? Maybe you just need to understand its importance in your life.
